Dr. Kristina Herber
Dr. Herber (geb. 1982) ist am 1. Januar 2026 von der Gründerin mit in die Geschäftsführung berufen worden. Nach dem Ausstieg der Gründerin, Prof. Gensel, ist sie Alleingeschäftsführerin. Frau Dr. Herber ist seit 2018 für die AIHE tätig und war lange Jahre die Academic Director.
Prof. Dr. Andrea Gensel
Prof. Dr. Andrea Gensel hat den Afterwork-Campus im Frühjahr 2026 veräußert und steht noch zwei Jahre als Beraterin ihrer Nachfolgerin, Dr. Kristina Herber, zur Verfügung.
PROF. DR. FRIEDEMANN SCHULZ VON THUN
Eine Legende in unsere Mitte genommen. Es ist mir eine große Ehre, dass Prof. Schulz von Thun hinter mir und meinem Team steht, Fürsprecher des Masterstudienganges ist, uns berät und seine Kommunikationsexpertise einfließen lässt. So populär und erfolgreich und gleichzeitig so bescheiden.

Prof. Annegret Reski
Annegret Reski has been enhancing our team for 15 years now. She took her doctorate in Communication and has extensive professional experience as a lecturer. From aptitude diagnostics to personnel management and communication psychology, she covers all specialist areas. Her quiet, calm voice turns her interesting lectures into a cosy hour of learning. As professor, she has really won over our hearts.
Dr. Crystal Carr
Dr Carr is a neuroscientist and supports us in the field of "Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology and Drug Addiction". She is employed by the University of Michigan (USA) in the field of research and teaching and works for us in parallel. She supports us in offering our students international expertise thanks to great lectures.
Prof. Ruben Abagyan
Prof. Abagyan is a pharmacologist and teaches at the University of San Diego. His research focuses on the development of new technologies for structure-based discovery and optimisation of medication. He offers AIHE his expertise in the field of neurosciences and pharmacology. Botox as an anti-depressant? You might be surprised.
Prof. Tom Bschor
Prof. Bschor teaches in the field of psychopharmacology for us. He is a specialist in psychiatry in Berlin, carrying out research and teaching in various specialist fields, e.g. therapy-resistant depression, bipolar affective disorder, long term prophylaxis of affective diseases, addictions, especially alcohol, drug and medication dependence.Website
Prof. Dr. Tabea Scheel
Frau Prof. Dr. Scheel ist Expertin für Arbeits- und Organisationspsychologie. Freiberuflich als Coach tätig, ist sie auch am Puls der Praxis. Besonders spannend findet sie die Rolle des Humors im Arbeitskontext.
Prof. Dr. Dr. Alexander Moutchnik
Mit Professor Alexander Moutchnik hat AIHE einen Experten der Medienwirtschaft und Medienökonomie an seiner Seite. Professor Moutchnik studierte unter anderem Geschichte, Soziologie, Politologie und Volkswirtschaftslehre in Russland und in Deutschland. AIHE unterstützt er insbesondere im Themengebiet Kommunikation mit neuen Medien.
Dr. Clemens Veltrup
Dr Clemens Veltrup has been working for the Gensel Group for 11 years. As a psychologist, psychotherapist and head psychologist at a clinic for addiction diseases, he is one of the best lecturers I have ever heard. Full of experience and life, an excellent teacher, he has been inspiring our students for years.

Dr Klement is new to the team. She is a doctor who now also works for us as an examiner. She focuses particularly on assessing examinations for the degree course Psychological Medicine.
Dr. Clemens Veltrup
Dr. Clemens Veltrup ist für die Gensel-Group seit 11 Jahren tätig. Als Psychologe und Psychotherapeut und Leitender Psychologe einer Klink für Abhängigkeitserkrankungen gehört er zu den besten Lehrbeauftragten die ich bisher erleben konnte. Voller Erfahrung und Lebendigkeit, didaktisch hervorragend aufgebaut, begeistert er unsere Studierende seit Jahren.
Dr. Benjamin Zimmermann
Dr Zimmermann studied in his home country of the USA at the University of Illinois in the Cognitive Neuroimaging Lab and also works there. Her lectures enrich the neurosciences department.Website
Prof. Marc Ziegenbein
Prof. Ziegenbein ist Facharzt für Psychiatrie sowie Psychotherapie und Experte auf dem Gebiet der kultursensiblen Psychiatrie. Als Ärztlicher Direktor des Klinikums Wahrendorff engagiert er sich für spezielle Behandlungsangebote für Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund. Einen weiteren Schwerpunkt bildet die Forschung im Bereich der gendersensiblen Medizin. Prof. Ziegenbein möchte für diese Themen sensibilisieren und begeistern.

Prof. Koenig ist Professor für Psychiatrie und Verhaltenswissenschaften am Duke University Health System. Er forscht und lehrt seit über 35 Jahren zum Thema Religion und Gesundheit.
Dr. Bernd Borchard
Dr. Bernd Borchard ist Psychologischer Psychotherapeut und als Dozent und Supervisor für verschiedene forensische Institutionen in Deutschland und in der Schweiz tätig. Er ist Dozent im Weiterbildungsmaster Forensische Psychologie an der Universität Konstanz, Mit-Inhaber einer Praxis für Begutachtungen, Supervision, Beratung und Workshops in Konstanz, Zürich und Hamburg und unterstützt uns mit seiner Expertise bei Vorlesungen zur forensischen Psychologie.

Dr Rafael is a Portuguese psychologist who lectures for us on a regular basis. From psychology for companies through to statistics. Highly competent and with an intercultural view on things. Thank you.
Dr Wiebke Stegh
Dr Stegh is a psychologist and a relaxed examiner. Why? A two-year further education course in "Yoga & Psychology" allows her to take a deep breath as a part-time yoga teacher and calmly mark her exams.
Dr. Pirie Grützmacher
This psychologist, who has just graduated with a doctorate, is highly committed and professional in her work for us as an examiner. She studied at the University of Malaya and graduated from the University of Exeter in the UK with her second master’s degree. She is a great asset to us, both on a professional and human level.

Dr. Emanuel Jauk
Dr. Emanuel Jauk ist postdoktoraler Forscher in der Abteilung für Medizinische Psychologie und Psychotherapie der Medizinischen Universität Graz/Österreich. Er ist tätig in der Forschung und Lehre zu interindividuellen Unterschieden aus persönlichkeitspsychologischer, klinisch-psychologischer und neurowissenschaftlicher Perspektive. Dr. Jannis Hagenah
Wir freuen uns, mit Jannis Hagenah einen Experten für Künstliche Intelligenz mit an Bord zu haben. Als Ingenieur und promovierter Informatiker forscht und lehrt er an der University of Oxford und am AIHE. Sein Forschungsfokus liegt auf der Entwicklung kognitiver Systeme in der Medizin und reicht von intelligenter Operationsplanung über Wearable-basierter Intensivversorgung bis hin zu autonomen Robotersystemen.
Dr. Marius Deckers
Marius Deckers ist promovierter Psychologe und hat in seiner Zeit als Wissenschaftler sowohl Erfahrungen in der theoretischen Forschung zu Empathie als auch in deren praktischen Auswirkungen auf Beschäftigte in sozialen Berufen gesammelt. Davon war er so begeistert, dass er sich als freiberuflicher Dozent in diesem Bereich selbstständig gemacht hat und sein Wissen nun, zum Beispiel über das AIHE, mit der Welt teilen möchte.

Dr. Aydasara Ortega Torres
Dr Torres is a 37-year old psychologist and lawyer. She lives in New York and works at the college in Brooklyn. She is a lecturer in Organisational Psychology for us. She gives a series of lectures across a variety of modules. I would like to thank her very much for her commitment.

Dr. Gonçalo Barradas
Dr. Gonçalo Barradas ist ein zugelassener klinischer Psychologe (Portugal) mit Doktortitel. Er beschäftigt sich leidenschaftlich mit klinischer Psychologie, Demenzrehabilitation und musikpsychologischen Neurowissenschaften und verfügt über langjährige Erfahrung als Lehrbeauftragter.
Dr. Damaris Aschwanden
Dr. Aschwanden ist an der Florida State University in der Altersforschung tätig. In ihrer Forschung untersucht sie die Zusammenhänge zwischen Persönlichkeit, kognitiver Gesundheit und Demenz. Damaris Aschwanden ist in der Schweiz aufgewachsen und hat an der Universität Zürich promoviert.
Dr Tina Strombach
Dr Tina Strombach studied Psychology at the Universiteit Maastricht, the Netherlands and the Université Pierre Mendès- France in Grenoble, France. Ihr Forschungsinteresse: social discounting, neuroeconomics & decision neuroscience (fMRI), consumer neuroscience. She is therefore perfect as an examiner.
Dr. Ronald Pommer
Als diplomierter Kommunikationswissenschafter und Politologe mit einer Promotion in Wirtschaftsinformatik und Mastergrad in Wirtschafts- und Organisationspsychologie forscht und lehrt Ronald Pommer seit mehr als 20 Jahren an der University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in den Fachbereichen Supply Chain Management und Sozialpsychologie. Am AIHE liegt sein Schwerpunkt auf Aspekten der Differenziellen Psychologie in kollaborativen Wertschöpfungsprozessen.

Dr Herber leads and takes responsibility for all the courses we offer in collaboration with London Metropolitan University. She stands out with her intelligence, stringency and solution-oriented approach – combined with a great deal of warmth and humour. This is an ideal combination, which benefits students, colleagues and me myself in equal measure.
Dr. Kahar Abula
Dr Abula is Uighur and was born and raised in China, studied Sociology and Psychology in Peking and then came to Germany to complete a doctorate. In addition to working as head of year group, Dr Abula supports us by advising Chinese people who are interested in our degree courses.

After a very short period of time, psychologist Wiebke Mehrens had already impressed me with her precise work and her ability to know exactly what she wants.
